National Day on the Hill

Event Description: In-person meetings are the most valuable tool advocates have, and Day on the Hill is your chance to communicate directly with Members of Congress and their staff. You’ll talk directly to elected officials about the critical, life-altering issues you face each day. No legislative experience is necessary to be an advocate for emergency nursing—thorough preparation and training is provided.

Day on the Hill will provide:

Interactive training sessions on how to effectively engage lawmakers on behalf of ENA
Opportunities to meet with congressional leaders on Capitol Hill to discuss how they can positively influence the future of emergency nursing
Networking sessions and an update from the ENA Board of Directors

SD ENA will send up to 3 representatives to attend Day on the Hill in Washington, DC. Expenses covered may include transportation, lodging, and most meals.
