Event Description: In-person meetings are one of the most powerful tools advocates have, and Day on the Hill provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with Members of Congress and their staff. Participants will have meaningful conversations with elected officials about the critical, life-altering issues faced in emergency nursing every day. No prior legislative experience is required—comprehensive preparation and advocacy training are provided to ensure you feel confident and supported.
Day on the Hill will provide:
-Interactive training sessions focused on effective strategies for engaging lawmakers in support of ENA priorities.
-Opportunities to meet with congressional leaders on Capitol Hill and discuss ways they can help shape the future of emergency nursing. -Networking opportunities and an update from the ENA Board of Directors

SD ENA will send up to 3 representatives to attend Day on the Hill in Washington, DC. Expenses covered may include transportation, lodging, and most meals.
