National ENA 2018 Delegate Announcement
Rachel Tinker, Brenda Haan, and Kip Littau will represent SD ENA as delegates to general assembly at Emergency Nursing 2018 National Conference! Thanks to all who applied!
SD House Bill 1126 Signed Into Law
Governor Dennis Daugaard signed HB1126 into law on March 22, 2918! SD ENA has endorsed this bill from its inception. This bill clarifies the aspects of a medical forensic examination and will eliminate victims from receiving bills for their exams.
SD ENA Government Affairs Chair, Sandra Ruesch, testified on behalf of SD ENA and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners. We are so proud of Sandra and all our members who advocate for our patients.

SD Members Attend National ENA Day on the Hill in DC
SD ENA Members Kara Fonken, Michael Quinliven, Kip Littau, and Karla Nygren attended ENA National Day on the Hill in Washington, DC. This event brings ENA members together from across the country to learn about advocacy. Members undergo a full day of intense training about advocacy and spend time learning about the bills ENA supports. The following day attendees meet with law makers on Capitol Hill to advocate for our patients and colleagues across the country! We are so proud of our members!
